Effective Immediately: 9/7/2020
Given the COVID-19 outbreak, we are following guidelines from the Center for Disease Control & the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and must make changes to our patient & client protocols for the safety of our staff, clients, and patients.
To maintain safe distances & minimize the spread of the virus, please note the following policy changes:
1. Clients will NOT be allowed to enter the building until further notice! Please call 410-522-9090 to have a team member collect your pet for their appointment. We will discuss histories, treatments & collect payment via phone.
2. We request any clients that are showing any flu-like symptoms to please stay home!
3. If possible, please delay any non-essential appointments.
4. All prescriptions MUST be pre-paid & will be brought to the door for pick-up.
How our COVID protocol appointments flow:
When you arrive for your appointment, please call us from your vehicle. We will get you checked in, and then a nurse will meet you at the door to bring your pet inside. Once your pet is inside, we ask that you return to your vehicle and wait in your car for the duration of the appointment. The Doctor will perform their physical exam and then call you to go over findings, recommendations and treatment options. When the Doctor is finished speaking with you and your pet is ready to go, our front desk staff will call you to collect payment and get you checked out. We will meet you at the door to return your pet to you along with any medication you may have purchased also. If you would like to provide your payment information at check-in to stream-line the process and get your pet in and out quicker, you are more than welcome to do so. We will still let you know what the total is before we charge your card.
Thank you for your understanding & patience as we work to keep our hospital open to be able to service our clients & patients!
